Merry Christmas!

Landon is decorating our Happy Birthday, Jesus cake. He really liked putting on the sprinkles. Remember He is the reason for the season!

Presents from Santa

Kachow!
Landon gets a little frustrated with the race car. He is having a hard time reaching the pedals and steering the car at the same time.

We wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Landon is having a great time and we are getting ready to go see family. We have really enjoyed spending this time with our friends and family.

Zoo Lights

We went to the Memphis Zoo last night for their Zoo lights. It was a lot of fun. Landon's favorite thing was the large panda at the entrance. He talked about the panda the entire night.

They also had cookies for the kids to decorate. Landon ate the icing and sprinkles. Yummy!

I wish you could see the sprinkles that are stuck to his face. It was too funny.

Landon did not want to look at the camera because he was too busy looking at the panda.

9 days til Christmas

The Christmas countdown is totally stressing me out! Landon and I are in survival mode this week. Chad is on a business trip to California and he will not return until Thursday. Friday is my last day of work. Let me explain to you how difficult it is to keep 20 children from bouncing off the walls for 8 hours during Christmas time! Anyone who complains that we have great holidays, come to my room one day this week and you will truly understand why we get as much time off as we do. The kids are so excited and who can blame them. I am so excited this time of the year too! Sorry it has been so long since my last post; however, Landon and I both had a stomach bug last week. I am trying to do better; however, Erin never lets me forget that I am behind on my blog. Love you, Erin. Thanks for picking up my sweet boy today:)
Where's Landon?

Boo! What a great hair style! It is definitely time for another hair cut.

Weekend Fun

We meet Chris, Erin, and Reed yesterday for some coffee and hot chocolate. The boys decided they were going to sit at their own table and enjoy their juice and milk. They ran all over that place. I know everyone was excited to see us walk out the door.

Landon used the potty four times yesterday! Woohoo! Pull Ups are expensive. He did not do as well today, but we are going to continue to try. I can only imagine why he had to have a book while he was using his potty.

Last night, Chad and I went to his work party. It was a lot of fun and Chad won a grill and a small George Foreman grill. I can't wait for him to cook my steak. Yummy!

Thanksgiving or Christmas

Landon loves to help! He tried to help his BB put up her Christmas tree. He took every limb and put them in a pile on the tree. He then fell on the limbs and laughed. He had so much fun. He also enjoyed putting stuffed animals and everything else that he could find in the tree.

Can I explain how hard it is to take a 2 year olds picture for a Christmas card? I bribed my child with Skittles and I pretended that my foot was caught in a plastic bag. It was hard work. I can't decide which picture to use. Any suggestions?

Landon is showing the horns on the deer in this picture. He is obsessed with finding a big deer!

Cool dude! Landon borrowed his Paw's sunglasses to be cool.

Bunko, Bob, and Big

I won my 1st Bunko prize this week. I have played for 3 years and never received a prize except for the door prize. My losing streak came to an end this Thursday when I received the prize for the least littles. I got a McDonald's gift card and bought my sweet boy some french fries!

Landon and Bob
We bought Bob and Lucy a bed to go inside today. Landon thought he was supposed to be on the bed also. He loves his dog!

Align Center

Happy Birthday, Big! We went to Oxford this weekend to see Big on his birthday and to watch Grant, my brother-in-law, in a play. The play was fabulous and Grant stole the show as always. I made Big a birthday cake and Landon helped him blow out the candles.

King George

One day I will be so lucky to be the person touching his hand. I cannot even imagine what I would do if I had front row tickets to see George.

LT and I- 2006 George concert

If you did not already know it, I am totally obsessed with George Strait, the King. I just renewed my fan club membership today. I was so excited to watch the CMA's as George won single of the year. George always gets nominated; however, with all the new artists he does not get the recognition he truly deserves. I have been traveling to his concerts since 1999. I am so excited to purchase my tickets in December for his upcoming 2009 tour.

A long overdue post

Sorry it has been so long; however, I have been sick since Halloween night. I have been trying to catch up with school work, house work, and try to take it easy so I can completely get over this yucky stuff. Landon was Mickey Mouse for Halloween. He was so excited, but the ears were a little itchy as you can see. The night before Halloween we went to church for our Fall Festival. Landon only wanted to jump in the moon bounce. Unfortunately, there was a 5 minute limit due to the number of people. He threw a fit in the middle of the floor until I convinced him to go get candy.

Reed and Landon were not interested in taking a picture, so Uncle Tommy held them for us in order to capture the moment. Thanks for your help Uncle Tommy!

On Halloween, we took the boys to a few houses in our neighborhood to trick or treat. They loved every minute of it. I could listen to Landon say twick or tweat a million times! He did not want to put his candy in his pumpkin only in his mouth.

Our latest obsession has been Cars. Please check out our new Cars boots. He insisted on wearing them that night with his costume.

We stopped by Leanne's house. She is a coworker of Chad's. She was so smart and gave out glow in the dark necklaces (AKA bracelets in Landon language), spider rings, and skeletons. We had a great night and the boys definitely had a lot of fun!

Cows, Dogs, and The Family Reunion

Landon loves cows. We took him to my Dad's place this weekend to see all the cows. He loved it and had a lot of fun calling the cows just like his Pop. Pop says that you always have to wear a hat when you leave the house; therefore, Landon had to use one of Pop's hats so he could go see the cows.

We also made a stop to see the horses. This time Landon did not cry when we put him on the horse.

Meet our newest family member! This is Bob. I will post a better picture soon. Bob is part chocolate lab and part blue heeler. Landon has really enjoyed playing with Bob. They are so cute playing together in the yard.

Grant and Landon jumping in the moon bounce. There was a moon bounce at the family reunion, so you can guess what Landon did all day.

Fabulous Fall Break

I had the last two days off and they have been wonderful. Being a teacher does have its perks, but I definitely needed a break. Today we went to the mall with Erin and Reed to find Haloween costumes. We let the boys ride the carousel and the train. Landon had to ride the zebra. The boys loved it so much that we had to ride twice.

Please notice that Reed is dying out laughing in this picture. He kept throwing his head back and laughing. It was too funny.
