One day I will be so lucky to be the person touching his hand. I cannot even imagine what I would do if I had front row tickets to see George.
If you did not already know it, I am totally obsessed with George Strait, the King. I just renewed my fan club membership today. I was so excited to watch the CMA's as George won single of the year. George always gets nominated; however, with all the new artists he does not get the recognition he truly deserves. I have been traveling to his concerts since 1999. I am so excited to purchase my tickets in December for his upcoming 2009 tour.

m'kay so here's my brush with fame. I met George Strait when you were probably starting to crawl. He was playing at the ASU Fieldhouse in Jonesboro, AR....circa 1982...fast forward 15 years, I had front row tickets in Memphis, because my room mate was a crazy insane fan, who at the time was a major biggie in the fan club....I know you all had a great time.
I did not know we had something else great in common. I was the oddball in HS in the mid-80's, while most were head-banging to the hair bands, I was 2-steppin with George! We used to see him every year at the Tulsa State Fair! I love it!
