Welcome to life with a 20 month old!

Cheese!!Landon's new thing is take all of Chad's shoes out of his closet and put them in his bed, the bathtub, or the clothes hamper!

I had to post these pictures to show what I clean up every day. He loves to dump everything out including his blocks, stuffed animals, basket of toys, and the balls in his ball pit. I really should buy him more toys b/c he doesn't have anything to play with. What do you think?

Some Family Pics

Landon and Pop

Landon and Mommy
(My arm looks huge in this picture! I really need to do some working out. No fear, Erin and I just bought bikes with the baby seats to go on the back. We are going to ride all over the place. I hope we don't have too many wrecks!)

Landon and Aunt Nell

How sweet! Pictures can be so deceiving. We have definitely reached the terrible two's. Help!!

Happy Birthday, Matthew Ryan and Grandaddy!

Landon loved the Nemo cake until the end. I think it became too sweet once he started eating all that icing. He was raking the icing off his tongue.

Happy 80th birthday! He is the sweetest man I know. I am so glad that Landon has a wonderful grandfather like this!

VBS

VBS was a huge success. We had 17 children, who accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior! The music, decorations, and activities were very exciting. I helped decorate the church the week before and during VBS I helped provide snacks for the teachers. We had a great time and we are already making plans for next year!

The stage
Please keep in mind that the sign in the middle of the stage was drawn by Kathryn. She looked at the picture and drew the VBS logo within a few minutes. Then we painted the sign. Actually, she painted most of the sign and I helped a little. She is an amazing artist.

Is it really summer yet?

Sorry so long since my last post. It has been absolutely crazy since I got out of school on May 23rd! On that same day Chad's dad was admitted to the hospital. He had 2 mini strokes. Fortunately, he did not have to have surgery like we originally thought and he was released after staying four days. I have started my annual decorating for Vacation Bible School at my church. We usually spend the entire week decorating the foyer and the sanctuary. This year I am also in charge of teacher snacks. We feed the teachers, who take the time to volunteer for our children. I am responsible for feeding 100 people. I am a little worried, but I have some great help. I will now get to the pictures that I have failed to post lately.

Landon is already trying to fill Daddy's shoes!

Landon and my beautiful neices

Well I bought Lucy a pool, because huskies get so hot with all their fur during the summer. I guess you can see who really uses the pool. Landon kept saying that he was taking a bath. He had a blast.
