O What Fun!

We have celebrated a lot over the past two weeks. Here is Landon at his class Christmas party.

My nieces came to visit us for a few days. We rode around and looked for Christmas lights. This house wins the award for certain!

Making our Happy birthday, Jesus cake

We went to a place called the Christmas Village. It was great. We were able to see Santa, ride a camel, ride rides, and pet animals. Charlie and Landon were not too crazy about Santa this year. I will try to scan the pictures later. My scanner is in my classroom.

Ready to ride

Riding the teacups

I absolutely love their faces in this picture!

Charlie wasn't so sure about the animals. He wanted to touch them; however, he was too scared.

Landon and Kayla rode the camel.

Charlie got to ride the carousel with Kayla. He loved every minute of it!

1st Haircut/Christmas Card Chaos

We took Charlie to see Mrs. Shelia for his first haircut. He wanted nothing to do with it until we gave him the sucker. He was totally fine once he had the sucker.

He would lick the sucker, take it out, touch it with his other hand, and then put it back in his mouth. All I can say is "Yuck!" It was a sticky, hairy mess!

It has been such a busy and crazy time for us that my multiple attempts to take a picture for the Christmas card have been unsuccessful! I wanted to share with you the challenges.

There was a lot of whining and crying!
 A fit or two

Silly faces
I am sure that I was making a silly face in the background too.

Brotherly Love

Pouting

Constant Movement

A good picture then the dog walks right in front of the camera! Are you kidding me?

Exhaustion
We were all so worn out and I am still not satisfied! Don't be surprised if you do not receive a Christmas card from the Robertsons this year:)

Charlie's 1st Birthday Party

Last weekend we celebrated Charlie's birthday. We had a small family party and it turned out to be great. Charlie's cake was made by Mrs. Mandy of course! It was so yummy.

Mrs. Mandy showing off her work to Charlie man!

Yummy! He got a small taste before the party started. He is a sucker for Mrs. Mandy's buttercream.

Happy birthday, Little Man! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!

Our attempt at a family picture. We adopted two of Mandy's kids for the picture.

Cake Time
Charlie really enjoyed the stars on top. They must have felt good on his teeth.

Present Time
I must say that Charlie truly enjoyed every single one of his gifts. He played with everyone of them.

The Party Pooper
Opening presents was just too much work!

Leave it to Big to find a way to make the empty box fun!

Happy 1st Birthday, Charlie!

Charlie turned 1 today! It has been a wonderful year and I am so blessed with two beautiful boys. It seems like yesterday that I was in the hospital ready to meet him and now he has been here for an entire year. Charlie took two steps last night going from the couch to the ottoman. He really seems to have no interest in walking, because he can get there faster by crawling or someone is always there to carry him around! Charlie is such a good eater. Today when I picked him up from his babysitter, he was eating celery. He will eat almost anything that you give him and he will eat as much as he possibly can! Charlie loves to dance. If he hears music, he is dancing. He says Wow, Look, Mama, Dada, and he also says Wandon. His Landon is unclear; however, you can tell that is exactly what he is saying. He will call Landon and start looking for him. He also loves to point. He points at what he wants and begs until you give it to him. If he doesn't get what he wants, he will do his face plant as we like to call it. He will crawl really fast and bury his face preferably in the carpet if he is near it.

Mrs. Mandy made Charlie a giant cupcake. He has the best babysitter in the world.

Ready to open presents

"Wook!" (Look) said Charlie.

Ready for cake

Happy birthday to you!

Charlie decided to dive into his cupcake head first rather than taking a bite using his fingers. Yummy!

Play time after the bath of course!
He seems to think his new race track is a seat for him.

11 Months Old

Charlie turned 11 months on October 30th. I try to take his picture next to the blue bear; however, I quickly found out this is an impossible task these days! He loves to follow his brother around and dance to any music he hears. He really enjoys Mi Pueblo due to their music. His new word is "Wook" (Look) and he still loves to say "Wow, wow!" He runs around calling out something and I truly think he is trying to say Landon.
 We love to play anywhere!

 What's inside?

 Peek a Boo!

Charlie will be 1 at the end of this month. I cannot believe how the time has flown by. Soon he will be like his brother and want nothing to do with his Mommy :'(

Charlie loves to point. He points to what he wants and grunts at you to get it for him. He also points and says, "Wook" or "Wow!"

He knows what he wants and when he doesn't get his way, his face will look like this. He will also do his face plant as we like to call it. He will bury his face in the carpet.

Trick or Treat

Mario and the lil Pumpkin

We started the night at our church for the Fall Faith Festival. We started a Halloween tradition with the Gapens. We meet at the church and then go trick or treating together. When Reed and Landon were babies, we took the same picture of them with their daddies.

Charlie and Chase

Charlie and Chase rode in the wagon as we walked around the neighborhood. Charlie especially loved every minute of the ride! He did his usual cackling and Wow, wow.
