Happy birthday, Big!, Charlie's Room

Big came over Saturday night to celebrate his birthday with us. Landon was so excited. He sang to him on the phone and made him a birthday cake. Notice the sprinkles are located in one spot on the cake:) As soon as he woke up from his nap, he told us to get the party started. He did think that Big's party was going to be like his party (with a moon bounce). He made sure that Big used his Spiderman candle; however, Landon blew it out before Big could.

Charlie's room is ready for the most part. Chad was a good sport this weekend and helped finish things up. We still have a few things to do; however, we are officially ready for Charlie to make his grand entrance. I go back to the doctor this Wednesday. As of right now, Charlie will be here December 2nd.

Preparing for Charlie

My fabulous church friends gave me a baby shower last Thursday. Thanks Bethany for opening your home. A special thanks to Erin for her decorations and another thanks to all those who brought the yummy food.

Landon had to go through every bag to see what Charlie got. He pulled out everything and commented, "How cute!" I know he has been around his mama a little too much.

He wanted me to take his picture with his Charwie Wawson (aka Charlie Lawson). It's the cabbage patch doll. He had to let Charlie sleep in his bed and in the cradle.

My co-workers gave me a Booty Bash (diapers, wipes, or anything for our new little booty) last night at Olive Garden. Here is a picture of the delicious cake. I brought half of the cake home with me. We put it on the counter to finish unloading presents. In the mean time, Landon decided that he wanted to see the cake. He came running out of the kitchen telling me he had a spill. He had dropped the entire cake in the floor. He told Chad, "Daddy, I need your help in here!" He also called Chloe to come and clean up. How could you be mad at him after that?

Once again when I got home with all the gifts, Landon had to pull everything out of the bags. This time he put everything into the crib.

Here is his final product! Landon has been so excited about the baby and I hope he continues to be when Charlie actually gets here. I did have another scare on Friday. I went to the dentist to have a root canal. After the doctor numbed me, I decided to use the restroom before he got started. I started bleeding and a friend, who was at work at the time, brought me home. I went to the hospital and my doctor kept me overnight to watch me. I went home Saturday and am on bed rest until further notice. I have been feeling pretty good other than being bored. Hopefully, Charlie will continue to bake a little longer.

Halloween Fun

My computer has been acting up all week, so I am just getting to this post. Landon was so excited all day Saturday. He talked nonstop and was literally bouncing off the walls. We made spider cookies, attended the church's Fall Festival, and went trick or treating.
