5 Months

May is always a busy time of year, especially for a teacher, so I am a little behind on my post this time!
Charlie has grown so much! He is now 18 pounds and 4 ounces. He has really started to enjoy eating various types of fruits and a few veggies. He does not like any green vegetable. Oh well, it was worth a try! He has really gained control of his hands and loves to jump in his Jumperoo. He is a very happy baby, who smiles all the time.

I just love Landon's face in this picture.

Bahamas

Chad had to fill in for one of the salespeople at work and had to represent his company in the Bahamas at the Zaxby convention. It was a terrible job; however, someone had to do it.

We stayed at The Atlantis in the Bahamas. The resort was beautiful and extremely convenient. Everything you need is right there and you never have to leave the resort unless you want. The views from our hotel room were amazing.

Our 1st day at the beach

The first night was an 80's party. Below are Hulk Hogan and Mr. Miyagi. We dressed as ourselves since we were born in the 80's. Creative huh?

We were able to do a shallow water interaction with a dolphin. Her name was Sasha and she was a hurricane Katrina victim. It was so amazing to pet the dolphin and watch how much personality she had. I was blown away by how smart the dolphin was.

The Atlantis has a waterpark on their grounds. They had several slides and a lazy river. Chad went down the Leap of Faith, which is a 60 foot vertical drop! I let him somehow talk me into going down two waterslides and my tailbone has the bruises to prove it! Please keep in mind that I am totally frightened by water! I went down one slide where you float through the shark tank at the end!

The beach
We didn't spend too much time at the beach, because there were too many salespeople (jet ski rides, necklaces, coconut drinks, etc.)

This is where we spent most of our time relaxing by one of the many pools on the resort.

Our pictures from our last night in the Bahamas. We attended the Zaxby's Zeggy awards.
