Aunt Nell passed away September 15, 2009 and she is gone to be with her Lord and Savior (I am so thankful for that.) I thought I was truly getting over her being gone, but I am not so sure that is something you can get over completely. Yesterday Landon said her name. I wasn't sure that I heard him, so I asked what he said. He asked, "Where's Aunt Nell? I really need to see her." I told him that she has gone to live with Jesus in heaven. He told me that she lived at her house and then he continued to ask me how Jesus got her to His house. Whew, tough questions from a 3 year old! I don't think that I made him understand, but he finally stopped asking the questions. I thought about her a lot last night and I wanted to share some pictures of her with Landon.
Unfortunately, these are the last pictures I have of her and Landon. During Easter 2009, she was too sick to come over to my parents' house; however, she had to see Landon hunt eggs. We took our eggs over to her house and rolled her on the porch to watch Landon hunt his eggs.

This is the first time she was able to meet Landon. She was unable to come to the hospital when he was born. She was so glad to meet him.
