Fire truck, 3 cops, and a locksmith

Tonight Landon and I met Chad at Old Navy for their fabulous half off sale. After our shopping spree, we put Landon in the car; however, we decided to let him ride home with Chad in his truck because Landon was fussy. Chad took Landon out of my car and put him in his seat in his truck. Chad laid his keys on the dashboard while he fastened Landon into his car seat. He locked the door and shut it; however, he did not get his keys off the dashboard. Chad went into Old Navy to find a wire hanger. While he was inside they called the cops. I called Erin and sent her to our house to locate the extra truck key. She had to dig through all my purses, but she found the key. In a few minutes we hear sirens. The fire truck is pulling into the parking lot. Next we have 3 cop cars that appear. The cops are trying to open the truck. Finally the locksmith shows up to unlock the door. They tried and tried to open the door and were unsuccessful. Erin arrived and gave us the key. We got Landon out and turned the heat on to warm him up. Did I fail to mention that it was approximately 28 degrees outside? The cop who tried to help got his stick or whatever you call the silver thing that they use to help people to unlock their cars stuck. The locksmith had to get the stick out and now Chad has to climb across the car seat and get out on the passenger's side of his truck. But who cares since we did get Landon out of the truck safe and sound. We had a very eventful night and I hope we never do it again! Erin- you are amazing! I don't know what I would do without you!

It's good you had happy end and save Landon. So many people were involved and only locksmith could release Landon! After your story I will be very careful with my keys.
